It is a project of the Government of the Balearic Islands financed from the Fund for the Promotion of Sustainable Tourism of the 2017 call.

The Diario de Pesca Recreativa is a mobile application that aims to improve the quality of fishing days by providing information of interest to recreational fishermen (minimum sizes, limited catch species, protected species, regulation of the Balearic Islands' marine reserves, etc. .).

The application is also a useful and intuitive tool for boat fishermen that allows them to comply with the obligation to declare their activity within marine reserves. The data from these declarations is very valuable information that will improve the monitoring of fishing activity and the knowledge of the evolution of marine resources.

The information to obtain the authorization of the boat and the keys to access the declaration of the fishing activity is on the website of the General Directorate of Fisheries and the Marine Environment (http://recmar.caib.es).
